Style Secrets: Rediscovering J.C. Penny

Is it just me or has J.C. Penny stepped their style game WAAAAY up? This past spring the mass retailer pushed out trendy TV spots and prints ads to introduce shoppers to their new pricing strategy (no sales, low prices daily). And I for one am impressed! The store's merchandise revamp began around 2009 and has been going strong ever since. I can usually find the best pieces in the MNG by Mango, I Heart Ronson and Bisou Bisou departments and so far my most coveted fashion acquisition is a lined, single-button hot pink blazer by MNG by Mango, as seen here:

{Check out GREAT detail photos of this blazer HERE.}

I've purchased a few other great items as well, but online images are hard to find (and God forbid I have to use my sucky camera phone to post). So in the meantime, check out some items I'm looking to grab up in the next few weeks:

Print Tunic Dress | $45

Ruffle-Front Belted Dress | $35

Split-Sleeve Tie-Waist Shirt | $22

Open Back Dress | $45
{Check out GREAT detail photos of the front + back of this dress HERE.}

5-Pocket Skinny Jeans | $20

Ruffle Maxi Dress | $32

Print Shorts | $20

See, I told you! Although some of the departments are a bit hit or miss, you owe it to yourself to stop in and see what you can find...especially at these low price points. Check it out for yourself at JCPenny.com.

  1. I have 2 $25 gift cards to JCPenny that I've had since Christmas. I need to check them out.
