Shoe freaks, fans, whores...this post is for you.

The folks over at Nine West have created a new way for me to loose an entire day's worth of productivity with announcement of their latest social site, Channel Nine. And as you guessed, it's dedicated entirely to the obsession of shoes! According to the site,

Channel Nine is the premier entertainment destination for shoe lovers everywhere.
With 45,787 subscribers and 867,641 views across the Channel Nine network, it's your go-to channel for great entertainment and authoritative advice on the latest trends in shoe style and culture.

 I recently had a chance to browse the site and the content is really fascinating (if you're into pop culture, fashion and accessories, that is...).

But my favorite part has to be the Shoe Hoarders segment. I love a good sneak peek into a well-designed closet, and the ladies in these digital shorts do not disappoint! Check out some of my faves so far:

Love this site! Can't wait to see more.

I'm still here....sort of {Fashion Recap}

Hi, guys!

Sorry my posting has been inconsistent lately. Lots going on with my FTJ (full-time job), so I've had to focus my editorial efforts that way.

But, I'm still pinning up a blue streak some of my recent fashion finds on Pinterest. Not following me? Shame on you! Here's what you've missed:

Style Siren: Krystal K. {Washington, D.C.}

Name: Krystal K.

Location: Washington, D.C. (for now...looking at a possible move to the Big Apple!)

Occupation: State Health Policy and Programs Coordinator for a nonprofit

Personal Style: My personal style has evolved so much over the past 5 years, but I've always enjoyed adding unexpected touches and mixing prints. My personal style definitely has a "grandma" aesthetic: I love wearing lace, florals and comfy knits.

Favorite Item of Clothing: Hmmmm, right now it's a playsuit/romper from Urban Outfitters. Once it's gets cold, I have a feeling my favorite item will be a wool blazer I just bought at Zara.

Most amazing purchase: My most amazing purchase (again, right now) is a Michael Kors makeup bag that I'm going to use as a clutch. It's black patent-leather, snakeskin-printed, oval-shaped box with a gold "MK" on the front. Super ostentatious, and so perfect!

What makes your style so unique: think what makes my style so unique is that I get people to think differently about what's in their closets. I can't afford to shop that often, so I've gotten pretty good at pairing everyday pieces to create an unexpected look. It makes my wardrobe stretch farther, and the result is a pretty unique style.

Style philosophy: Wear what you like! At the end of the day, people look better in confidence. If you like what you're wearing, you're going to be more confident, and you'll look so much better in your clothes.

Rachel Zoe Sping/Summer 2013

I've been lurking, watching and (quietly) commenting on just about every show live streaming at Lincoln Center during this season's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (spring/summer 2013). But there is one collection that I fell head-over-heels in love with: Rachel Zoe.

It's no secret that I am a huge fan of RZ and her her effortlessly cool boho/southern California signature esthetic. And her runway collection (the first Lincoln Center) definitely did not disappoint. It included lots of flowy-fluid fabrics, dressed-up maxi dresses, silky shorts and more. I found it to be a completely wearable collection, unlike some pieces that are more aspirational than inspirational. All in all, I love it and can't wait to see it on the racks at Bloomies!

Celeb Crush: Chanel Iman

Model Chanel Iman has walked the runway for just about every big name in fashion, so you know the girl has collected some pretty amazing pieces over the years. What I wouldn't give to take a gander into her closet. The next best thing: a video courtesy of Bluefly.com's Closet Confessions series.

Love it! -EWB

Style Siren: Channing H. {of Channing in the City}

1. Name
Channing Hargrove

2. Location
A tiny town in Pennsylvania

3. Occupation

4. Personal Style
I'd say I alternate between being ultra-girly and looking like a 12 year old boy. Or a mix of the two.

5. Favorite Item of Clothing
Oh, man! Just one?? Something leopard or my J.Crew Blythe blouse.

6. Smartest/Most Amazing Purchase
Again, it's really hard to just choose one. Something from Gilt? I always get good deals on shoes there.

7. What Makes Your Style So Unique?
It truly reflects me and my personality. My moods, my likes.

8. Style philosophy?
Find you, find your style. Follow your dreams in between. Plus, adding sequins and leopard never hurt, either.

Jill Scott Covers October 2012 Issue of Essence Magazine

Photo courtesy of Essence Magazine
If a picture is worth a thousand words, this cover is worth a million! Bravo, Essence Magazine, for capturing Ms. Jilly from Philly in one of the most flattering photos I've seen of her to date. I love the fact that she's such a chameleon when it comes to her fashion and hairstyle choices. But with all the change ups, you almost forget to focus on just how gorgeous her skin is and beautiful her features are!

Plus, everything about this cover makes me want to throw some serious money toward updating my fall wardrobe (marketing goal -- accomplished!). The nails, the makeup, that AH-MAZING statement necklace...I want it all!

Sounds off on your thoughts!
