I'm a sucker for a bright nail polish. If it screams at me from across the room, you'd better believe it's going in my shopping cart, AND I will spend upwards of $20 a bottle if it's an obscure or European-based brand with a cult following. I find that harder-to-locate polishes add a bit of depth and uniqueness to my lacquer collection, especially if I'm providing a manicure or pedicure service to a client. {Oh yeah, did I mention that I'm also a licensed manicurist?}

So I've put together a nail polish color guide for the summer, as these eight shades will keep a smile on your face and garner major compliments all season long. Trust!

What's your go-to color for summer? Leave a comment for me below!

  1. I'm looking for some new brands to try, so this post is right on time! Thanks for the suggestions. I recently switched from Essie to OPI polishes (love the longer wear on the latter). My fave right now is a bright pinky-red called Dutch Tulips.

    1. Anytime! Sephora and Neiman Marucs are a great resource for obscure brands. RickysNYC.com is also a great place to scout.
