BEAUTY TUESDAY: DIY SUGAR LIP SCRUB

Dry, cracked lips are a drag...especially when wearing those bright red, pink or nude lip colors.
To keep dryness at bay, check out my quick & easy DIY tutorial on
how to make your own sugar lip scrub!

Step 1: Add sugar, EVOO, honey and coconut oil to bowl and mix well.
{Note: measurements vary depending on how much or how little you plan to make.
 I used about half a cup of sugar, 1 tbsp. of coconut oil, 1 tbsp. of honey, and 2-3 tbsp of EVOO.}

Step 2:  Once you've finished mixing, add a drop of your favorite essential oil for scent (I used lavender!) and package in a small container.

Step 3: Use before applying your favorite bright and bold lip color for baby smooth lips!

  3. Have you ever tried it with brown sugar and is Cora Lay making essential oils now?

  4. I have! Depending on how course or fine you want the granules to be, you can modify your recipe. I swiped a bottle of oil from the CoraLay factory ;)

  5. Gonna try it with Miss Pooh. She's been freezing cucumber slices for her eyes, taking extra long in the shower and moisturizing EVERY part of her. In her STEM camp this summer they made perfume and now she thinks she's a chemist.
