BLACK AND WHITE WEDDING

blk & white wedding

Working in the wedding industry has taught me a thing or two...especially when it comes to fashion. And the first rule to wedding etiquette is that you ABSOLUTELY DO NOT wear white if you're not the bride. (Sidebar: one of The hubby's family members wore white to my wedding and I don't think I'll ever let it go! But I digress.)

But no one said anything about black and white, right?! I have a late summer wedding to attend back home and I'm contemplating this French Connection jersey dress. The material is perfect for surviving outdoors in the Mississippi heat, and the print is amazing! As for accessories and shoes, to break up the monotony of black and white, I think I'll pair it with these gorgeous emerald green pumps from Zara, a blingy green bracelet from Jeweliq and a structured clutch bag to bring the look together!

What do you think about this look? Is black and white at a wedding a no no or perfectly appropriate? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment below!

  1. I think the black and white combo is perfect. Adding the splash of color definitely gives the oufit more character.
