Fashion magazines are a staple in my home. I read them, collect them, and covet them. So of course I've been patiently waiting for luxury eCommerce kings Net-a-Porter to launch their first print publication, Porter, since I caught wind of the news to release a physical magazine back in December.

But that $9.99 single issue price tag and $48 yearly subscription? Whoa.

Don't get me wrong. If the inside of the glossy looks anything like the cover of Giselle B√ľndchen shot by the talented photography duo, Inez and Vinoodh, then I'm sure it will be worth every penny.  And I completely understand that they are marketing to a luxury demographic--that top 2% of people who can afford to buy the goodies inside the book as it comes off the runway. But considering I can already browse their online magazine, The Edit, for free, does it make sense for me to drop my lunch money on new mag?

But being the print publication addict I am, I'm sure I'll make my way over to Barnes and Noble before the weekend is over and buy the first issue. I mean, I HAVE to buy the first issue, right? It could become a collectors item. Because I still have every single last copy of the Holy Grail that was Suede
